We have technology enabling us to manufacture biosurfactants from rape biomass

Biosurfactants are surface active agents originating from plants, their visible effect is forming of an emulsion or a foam.

Due to their unique properties they can be used for production of cleaning supplies, paints, cosmetics, groceries or even medicines.

Boruta-Zachem have exclusive rights to technology which enables manufacturing of biosurfactant surfactin on an industrial scale. Surfactin is synthesized by the bacteria of the genus Bacillus from biomass left after rapeseed oil production.

The aim of the company is to promote biosurfactants as an alternative to surfactants of chemical origin. The ambition of Boruta-Zachem is to optimise the production of biosurfactants originating from biomass fermentation to an extent that cost of their production is close to their chemical equivalents..
